Interesting videos. I have to ask, what is the function of all of this? I use stickies as a place holder for stuff I can't remember or want to have ready access to. Curious as to what other uses these features have? They are not supported in iOS so you can't share them on your iPhone or iPad can you?
Gene: They can serve that same function for you, if you like. Or anything else you can imagine. It is up to you how you use them. No, they don't sync across to iOS or even to other Macs. Use the Notes app for that. But people still like Stickies.

I retract my earlier statement! I CAN see how this functionality could be very useful. I plan to redo my Stickies to be much more helpful. Thanks. You know more about Apple functionality then I'll bet most Apple employees.
