iPhone Burst Photos

Use the Burst Photo feature on your iPhone to get otherwise improbable shots. By taking a series of photos you can then select the perfect one instead of relying on pressing the shutter button at just the right moment. It is easy to choose the photo or photos you want to keep from the series.

    It's great. But the problem I have is I sometimes get a burst when I thought I had just touched the button. Is there any way to set a delay before it starts taking the burst instead of a single photo?

    Robert: No, there's no way to turn it off. You just have to get used to tapping the button. A quick tap is all you need. But if you make a mistake, the good news is that you didn't miss the shot, you just have to select the best one.

    Thanks for this information. I have never understood this feature and never used it.. but will from now on.
