Brother and I each have a Mac. Mine is a PowerMac G5, his is a newer iMac.
We share an Internet connection through a hardware switch.
He has Dreamweaver and Photoshop installed on his iMac.
Beyond file sharing, is there a facility that allows me to use the Dreamweaver and Photoshop packages on his computer, storing my files on my PowerMac?

No, there no good way to share applications. One factor is that the license for such applications is for one computer only. So even if you went ahead and installed the software on your computer, you'd need to purchase a second copy to do so.
In 2009 I bought Quicktime Pro for my iMac. I now wish to use this application on my MacBook Pro. Is there anyway I can do this?
You need to install the QuickTime Player 7 (QuickTime Player 7, not QuickTime X -- you can and should have both installed). It should be on the discs that came with your Mac as an optional install. Or, maybe it is already there.
Then, run QuickTime Player 7 and go to the QuickTime Player 7 menu, Registration and use your registration code to upgrade it to "Pro."
