What is the cheapest way to purchase apple care? I see better prices on Amazon but concerned it wont be for my device since the cost is so much different.

Apple care packages vary depending on the device they cover. You wouldn't pay the same for a $500 iPad as you would a $2,000 MacBook Pro. So if you purchase Applecare from another merchant, you have to make sure it is the Applecare package that specifically covers the device.
