In this episode, Trevor –that crazy guinea pig– meddles with my theme song. We get down and jiggy to the clang of the cowbell. There’s still plenty of time to sing me a theme song, and send it to geekgirl (at) clevermedia (dot)com. Rick Rey is from rickrey.com. He makes a vlog with his brother, and they do some funny stuff, and tend to get kicked out of public places for trying to film. Ze Frank is from zefrank.com/theshow, and Rocketboom is at rocketboom.com They both are said to carry a podcast viewership somewhere in the neighborhood of 300,000 viewers a day. I totally recommend watching the daily witty antics of Ze, (and for those of you who already watch him– can you tell I’m a big fan? [o_o] If you’d like to check out the full text of the NASA article I reference go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/em/fr/-/2/hi/science/nature/6076212.stm It’s a sad state of the American news media when I go to the BBC to learn about what my own nation is doing with my taxes in space. Remember, GeekGirl will be making appearances this weekend in both SL and RL. Tonight, Friday October 27th at 7:00 Second Life Time you’re invited to the grand opening of the Podcast Salad Bar and Grill. On Sunday you can see the Geek Girl and lovely assitant bob for Action figures at Magesticon in Northglenn Colorado. See you next week if you’re geek enough! Prove it by sending me a picture of your bag of dice, or a video how you roll 20. Mail to: geekgirl (at) clevermedia (dot) com. Dot cooooommmmmm…
I wish the Geek Girl had a theme song. Unfortunately, I cannot sing (which doesn’t mean that I won’t subject you to that at a later date) because I’ve allocated my life’s talent points into another skill tree. No shame in that. But I know some of you geeks are music geeks. So please, please mix something together for me. I don’t care if it’s silly, not so good, or any particular genre. Thank you to everyone who took the time to write me comments. I’d still like to get to know you all and what you’d like to see in a show, so please shoot me an e-mail at geekgirl(at)clevermedia(dot)com. See you next week!

This week, Geek Girl eve-park gives you a tour of your lavish production studio, and takes a road trip, in which she completes 3 quests from her RL quest book. To find out more about the latest new media acquisitions, you might start with Katie’s coverage on this week’s Podcast Salad (podcastsalad.com). Super-vlogger Chuck Olsen actually has far to many projects to mention, but you can find most of them via Minnesota Stories (mnstories.com), my favorite is the seldom updated MookiTV (mookitv.com). I’ve been slowly building a Warhammer 40k Necron army, and at home we are currently teaching ourselves how to play. The Blood Red Citadel spray paint is actually for an army of Space Marines. We’d looked in all our usual haunts for it, and store owners couldn’t even verify it’s existence! So finding it in a random store in Colorado Springs was a huge triumph. My favorite geek store is Battleground Games (battlegroundgames.com) in Abington Massachusetts. If you’re anywhere near, it is worth the drive to check it out. Please leave me feedback in the comments section of geekgirl.tv, and if you use iTunes, please leave me a review at the iTunes music store. ‘Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top, ‘be your best friend?
