You can screenshot a list of numbers and then feed that to AI to get a total. But you can also do it without any AI at all.

Shortcuts in Tahoe seems to do a better job of allowing a chat environment with the on-device Apple Intelligence LLM. Experimenting with it shows how knowledgeable the LLM stored on your device can be even with no Internet connection.

While you can use File, Move in many apps, there is no Move function in the Finder. You have to use multiple windows for drag and drop, copy and paste in a different location or use a variety of other methods. But you can add a Move File function using Shortcuts pretty easily.

If the Calculator app is missing a specific calculation that you use often, like a Time Value Of Money calculation, you can just create that in Shortcuts. Once you have built the Shortcut, you can use it over and over again.
