I bought a new USB-Harddrive. I connected it to my Mac, used it as a Back-Up. Now I bought myself a Time Capsule and want to use my USB-Harddrive for my PC. I formated it on FAT32, but it won’t get recognized by my PC. I hooked it up to my Mac and it was working. I think the problem is, that Windows does not use FAT32 anymore. How do I format my Harddrive to NTFS on my mac?
(Sorry for my broken english)

Formating Harddrive NTFS

Windows definitely does use FAT32. Well, it should be able to see it anyway.
So formatting your drive FAT32 is your best bet. Not sure why you are having trouble seeing in on your Windows machine. That's a question for a Windows expert :)
But you can always try formatting it on your PC. Format it FAT32, though, as if you format it NTFS it won't be easy (or possible) to read it on your Mac.
I connected it to my Windows XP Tower and it didn't get regonized. But it did work on my Windows 7 Notebook (didn't consider hooking the Drive up to my other notebook)
Thanks for the help.
