How do I get Facebook Apps like Cafe World and Farkle to play on the iPad….they start to load and then just stop. If they’re flash files, can I download something for them to load or is it not possible?

If those Facebook apps aren't working on the iPad, then the only thing you can do is contact the developer and ask them. Perhaps they use technology that is not available on the iPad, such as Flash. It could also be simply a bug that only shows in the iPad's browser. Only the developer can help.
