Hello Gary
I want to use my iPad for business meetings, taking notes, etc. There are several “pad” apps out now, however writing with my finger is odd. I purchased a stylus recently and the large rubber tip made it impossible to write, only poke at buttons.
Is there a stylus out there that you know of that will act as a tried and true pen for the touch screen? I was looking at “Pongo” but won’t order online any longer without either seeing it for myself of obtaining a recommondation from a trusted source.
Recent devotee to MacMost. You do a fantastic job and so many of us appreciate it.

I've hear doff them, but never tried them myself. I suppose the tip has to be larger than a regular stylus so it simulates a finger touch.
I am using the pogo stylus for drawing. It works very well. But for general use, my fingers sre more than adequate. My husband loved the shirt pogo for his iPhone until he managed to loose it. wish you could pick them up at the Apple Store!
The apple stores here are using cases with iPod touches for transactions. They used a stylus for me to sign. The stylus has an electric current that can simulate human touch
He said the founder of Twitter made it and is letting apple use it in their retail stores
Pogo Stylus for graphics, finger for everything else. The stylus is very nice.
I haven't purchased a stylus either, but I've been doing some research. Here's a pretty convincing demo showing the two major choices that I've found: the Pogo and the Dagi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfTeIIi79r8
Penultimate, Writepad, Bugme, pogo stylus for them all, works great.
