Time Machine or iCloud Drive?

All my stuff is in iCloud Drive; documents, photos everything. Do I need to back up in Time Machine or leave it as that?

I would always back up in Time Machine. Having a local backup of your own files is critical in my opinion.

What happens if you accidentally delete something? It would be gone from iCloud Drive. There is a failsafe "Recently Deleted" folder, but that is only good for 30 days. A local Time Machine backup would give you much more security than that.

Also, what happens if you modify a file and then realize you want to go back to the old version? Time Machine will let you do that. iCloud Drive will not.

There are a few other scenarios where Time Machine is valuable as well. I would definitely use it.
