Download Lion from App Store
I have macbook and Mac 10.6.8.
I have purchased Lion from App Store at £20.99 invoice received and purchase started to download forecasting some days to complete. I have a slow download speed. After 1 day message that system fault caused a break in download Saturday 23rd and not resumed as yet and no message to say when it will. I have asked Apple if I may purchase the USB version when it is released having credit for my £20.99. Would be grateful for any other solutions.

You could always take your Mac to another location where you have a faster connection and try it there. Apple lets you use the wifi in their stores to do it for free.
