How Do I Access Dates Of Application Updates ?

Can you please advise the procedure to access the records of dates of updates completed on my Macbook Pro O/S Catalina 10.15.7. Thanks.

To confirm latest date of update to ensure applications are using latest data.

It depends on the app. For the apps that come from the Mac App Store, just go to the App Store app and click on Updates in the left sidebar. But if you have Preferences, Automatic Updates turned on in the App Store then those should all be up-to-date.

For other apps, run the app and look for a Check For Updates or similarly-named menu item. Sometimes it is part of the "About" menu item.

You can go to Apple Menu, About this Mac, then click on System Report, then Software, Application on the left. This gives you a list of installed apps and versions, even last modified dates. But it doesn't tell you if that is the latest version as it can't know that. But it is an interesting list nonetheless.
