How Do I Backup My Applications Presets?

In ScreenFlow, KeyNote, FinalCutPro, I created several customs presets and shortcuts.

How can I backup them for future use, if I replace my computer or want to put them on another computer?

I frankly don’t know where they are located in my iMac.

Preferences are stored deep in the system, in the Library folder. They are typically not something most users would look into.

When you back up with Time Machine, it backs up your entire Mac. Everything. When you get a new Mac, you would use Apple's Migration Assistant to pull all of your files, settings, etc., from the old Mac to the new one. This would include all of the preferences for apps.
