How Do I Delete Unwanted Selections In Numbers With Autocomplete?

When using Numbers, and I type the first letter of a name, I get a list of names that start with the same letter. However, if I have made a mistake, as in not capitalizing a name, Numbers “remembers” the suggestion, so the unwanted name still shows in the list. How do I delete those suggestions that I don’t want to appear in the list?

The Autocomplete function in Numbers is actually just looking at existing cell data. So if you are getting ADam instead of Adam, then just look for the instance of ADam in your tables and correct it. I tested this in Numbers 4.3.1 and changing the data in the cells will change the autocomplete suggestions.
