So I was importing some pictures into Aperture from my iPhone 4, and then went into Image Capture to view some other pics off of another camera. In the process I accidentally deleted some photos off of my iPhone 4 before they had been imported by Aperture. Is there any way to recover them?

Most likely not. You can try taking them to a data recovery specialist, if you are willing to throw some money at the problem. It depends how important the photos were.
Let me ask did you do a "back up" using iTunes before deleting pictures? Because iTunes backups your data in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/. However there are in what Apple calls "Binary Plists". But I found this little App for free: http://supercrazyawesome.com/ and it works. Just pick "iOS Files" and click extract. I tried it and it works
And when I say "BackUp" I mean did you sync with iTunes prior to deleting pics?
