I am capturing photos from the Google Maps application (street mode) in landscape…but when I view them in my photos folder…they only appear sideways. When I turn my iPad sideways, the photo just readjusts sideways, too. How can this be fixed so you can view your photos in landscape mode without them appearing sideways?

When you view it in Photos, turn your iPad so it fits the whole screen like you want it to. Then turn on the screen orientation lock switch. That's the only way I can see to do it.
Maybe submit a feature request to apple. Seems to me if you have an image that is tagged as a screen shot, then it should display in the proper mode.
Well a year has gone by, and a new iPad arrived, but screen grabs still display sideways. What the ???
