Forum Question: Is It Possible To Make Links Unclickable In Apple’s Mail?

I am getting paranoid and don’t really want to click any links in any emails is it possible to disable links or break them.

    There’s no way I can see to disable them like that. In general, there’s no real threat from just accidentally clicking them. The problem arises when you click on a bad/fake link, then continue to log in and take some action on the site. For instance, if the site is pretending to be your bank, and you click on the link, then log in with your password, giving the bad site your password. An accidental click won’t do the damage. It is what comes after it that is the problem.

    If you accidentally click on a link in an email. Simply close the page and move on.
