No new 27” iMacs. I don’t understand this. If you look at any PC users desktops today their screens look 27” minimum, mostly wider, even curved for a surround effect. That’s where the world is going. Wider screens. And Mac determines 24 is their max. I just don’t get it. It sounds like they want us to buy screens from other people and connect a mini. That’s what I am looking at. After using a 27” for 5 years, disgusting to go smaller. OMHO.

John: Apple sells two major models (mini and Studio) where you are expected to supply your own display, and they provide a 27-inch display themselves. So yes they do want you to buy a Mac from them and then a screen from someone else or from them, they don't mind either way. Lots of good options. I've got a video on this coming soon in fact. Did you actually try the 24-inch iMac at the store? More people use 13- to 16-inch MacBooks than any Mac desktop so 24 seems huge compared to those.
