A new feature coming to Mac and iPhone soon is Personal Voice. This is where you can go through a process and record your voice. It then becomes a Siri-like voice you can use in Live Speech to type-to-talk. This can be used in place of a microphone in most apps if you can't speak or are in a situation where you can't use a mic.

With a simple Shortcut you can record your home IP address and save it to a Note that you can access from anywhere with iCloud. A little more work and it can run hourly to keep up with any changes.

A new feature coming to iOS 17 lets you see transcribed text live as someone leaves a voicemail, and you can interrupt and answer the call.

After using the Studio Display for more than a year, I like it and haven't really had any problems. It has been solid.

If you need to connect more than one object together it can be useful to have a tiny object as a central point. You can also use a transparent object to create some spacing around connection line end points.

You can expand a photo beyond its borders or remove an object using this new beta feature. I'm sure we'll see it in more image editing apps before long.

In Sonoma you'll be able to turn a website in to its own app. This is not just convenient, but also allows you to log into a site with different credentials since it is separate from Safari.

While we don't really know how many of each model Apple sells, there are companies that try to provide an estimate. Most pundits agree that MacBooks far outsell all other Macs, but do iMacs and Mac Pros really sell in equal numbers?

Thanks to the new Vision Pro SDK, we can look at the Vision Pro simulator and get an idea of what it will be like to use the 3D goggles coming from Apple next year.

A new feature coming in Sonoma allows you to share your screen and your camera video at the same time in two different modes. One is to put yourself in a circle at any point on the screen. Another is to put the screen in a rectangle like it is behind you. And the best part is that it works in apps like Zoom, not just in Apple's apps.

This new feature of macOS really should be called Lock Screen wallpaper. But it is pretty cool nonetheless.

Apple made some huge announcements today including a new MacBook Air, updated Mac Studio, the M2 Ultra Mac Pro. They also talked about new things coming to iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma later this year. And they announced a brand new product: The Apple Vision Pro VR headset!
