The Copy Subject feature of macOS Ventura (also known as the Remove Background feature) is useful in a variety of ways. But did you know it works in Quick Look? In fact, I use it this way every day to make my video thumbnails. So you can basically use Copy Subject without even opening an image file.

Mac Accessibility options offer some alternatives to click-and-drag. One in particular, the three-finger drag, could be useful for those who don't like how window dragging with a Magic Trackpad feels.

While it is easy to highlight text in a PDF with the Highlighting tool, what if you wanted to highlight some text in a photo or screenshot? Just marking it up with a box or arrow could work, but you can also simulate a highlight marker effect with a well-made box or line.

When you are looking at a Finder list of files, you can use your keyboard to jump to a file starting with that letter. But when you use multiple letters or have a non-alphabetical sort, it can be hard to understand why one file is chosen over another.

Apple has finally released their Classical Music app for Apple Music subscribers. It looks pretty much like the Music app, but with all other genres gone and things customized to how you would look for and play classical music instead.

I moved to a new office this week and the audio properties of this room are very different than my last. I'm working to reduce the reverb (echo) and while doing so, discovered that measuring reverb is both harder and easier than I thought.
