I the screenshot app to stay in the dock, like it used to. I can’t find the option in Monterey.
I use screenshot quite often. It is not convenient to have to look it up in spotlight or launchpad. It won’t stay in the dock on my new M1 mac

It is usually much easier to just use Command+Shift+5 to bring u the screenshot tools. But if you really want it a an icon in the Dock too, you can find it in your main level Applications folder, inside the Utilities folder. It is Screenshot.app. Just drag it from there to the left side of the Dock.
