I’m unable to export bookmarks from Safari to Internet Explorer 9.
Using OSX Snow Leopard, I exported bookmarks from Safari to a external hard disk that’s formatted in NTFS (also tried doing so through a pen drive formatted in FAT format). Imported it on Windows 7 on the same Mac (using Bootcamp) in IE9.
Not able to transfer bookmarks. Also not able to delete some of them that we’re previously created in IE9.

So you say "Not able to transfer bookmarks" -- what, exactly, is happening? YOu get the file over there, I assume. Then you use some sort of import function in IE9? Then what? Error message? Something else?
Yes, i get the file there from the mac to the windows 7 & then i get a error sayig the file does not exist in that location (path).
I'm not sure. I'd have to see it. Experiment. Try different things.
Can you also tell me how do permissions work in Mac ? Can i clone my systems between Macs using a time machine /capsule?
e.g. Lets say i have 2 Macs a Macbook & a iMac & i want restore my macbook to & want it to look & have all the same functions like my i mac.
That can be difficult. You would want to do it on a case-by-case basis. Look at each "function" and see what is available. For instance, you can use MobileMe to sync bookmarks, contacts and events.
Perhaps some one-on-one training with a local Mac expert or in the Apple Store would help.
