I know I can burn tracks to a CD, but I have a 2 hour playlist, and I can’t burn that to a USB stick. Is it 2011 or 1995? I also have a gazillion files in my MP3 folders so I shouldn’t have to go back and try and find the original tracks that way.
And if Apple won’t allow us to export our own music from iTunes, then why do they let us export our own pictures from iPhoto?

You seem very upset that you can't do this. Seem to think that Apple is somehow restricting you in some way.
Ever consider that there is an easy way to do this and maybe you just haven't tried it?
Drag and drop.
View your playlist in iTunes. Have the USB stick open in the Finder. Drag the tracks from your playlist (select All first, if you like) into the USB stick.
Done.
You are kidding me? It's that easy??
Seriously, I googled and searched the Apple help sites carefully and this info is never mentioned. I guess that's what keeps Macmost in business ;)
thanks again Gary!!
Ha ha ha. I also didn't know this. Gary R is the best!!!!
