When I enter a title in the search bar in the iTunes store the results include albums, songs, podcasts etc but no movies. When I click on movies it only brings up categories or popular releases – I can’t find a way to search for just a specific movie by title or director or actor.

How Do I Search for a Specific Movie In the iTunes Store?

Just enter the movie or actor's name in the search field. You'll get results that include everything: music, apps, etc. But if you look on the left side of the window you'll see "Filter By Media Type." Just click on Movies in that list and you'll only see the movie results now. You usually get a list of the top 6 matches. But there is a "See All" button at the top of that list.
You'll also notice a "Power Search" button right above on the left. Click that and you can search by movie title, actor, director, year, description, rating and more.
I do not see anything in the window on the left that says "Filter By Media Type" nor do I see anything on the button right above on the left that says "Power Search." This is very frustrating not being able to search a title. I entered the movie title in the search field at the upper left but it did not give me movies, only albums and podcasts. It is selected for "All". Does this mean iTunes does not have the movie I'm searching for?
Correction: I meant that I entered the title in the search field on the upper right.
Searches are universal. But then the results are broken into categories. Search for a movie title and then scroll down to see the Movies category. Or look for the list of categories on the right. If you do not see the list of categories after searching, then perhaps you have shrunk the iTunes window too much and it is hidden.
