How Download SD Card Contents To Portable Hard Drive?

1)I will be in England all of August with multiple camera SD cards of pics/videos to download to an external hard drive so I may reuse SD cards. I have no laptop. Is there a travel HD that will download SD content & how to do it? 2) recommend best portable power bank to charge 2 iPhone 6S’s + iPad mini 3?

Yes, they do make portable drives with an sd card reader built-in. I've never used one. A quick search on Amazon brings up the "RAVPower FileHub Plus, Wireless Travel Router, SD Card Reader USB Portable Hard Drive Companion." No idea how good it is.

But it is a coincidence that my answer to number 2 is: I don't know which one is best, but I have been using a RAVPower power bank and it works well. As a matter of fact, I had a RAVPower before this one, and it still works, but a family member has appropriated it so I had to get a new one for myself. So look at the RAVPower options and get one that fits your needs.

Now there is one more thing I need to mention. If you have your iPhone and/or iPad with you, then you can get the SD card reader for it that Apple offers. You put your SD card in that, and the photos sync to your iPhone or iPad. Then if you use iCloud Photos, they go to the cloud too. This is how I work when I travel without a Mac. I take pictures with my Canon (well, usually my iPhone, but my Canon too) and then transfer from the SD card to the iPhone, and that gets them to iCloud. Even if you don't use iCloud Photos, it still gives you the chance to put them in a second location. Of course if you take a lot of video and want to fill up an external drive with 100+ GB of video, then I can see why you need a drive and not just your iPhone.
