Laserwriter 12/640

I’m a teacher and I recently inherited a Laserwriter 12/640 printer. I’m running Snow Leopard and I’m wondering if there is any way to get this sucker installed? I have four years worth of ink cartridges that would save me a ton of money. I really want to get it going. I know it’s old, but my school won’t buy me a printer.

Who makes the printer? Go to their web site and look up that printer in their support section. They should have downloads there for software and/or drivers. However, if it is a very old printer, or the manufacturer doesn’t support it anymore, then you may not find drivers that you can use. You can call them for support, but you are probably out of luck in that case.

It’s an Apple printer. I thought I had the right drivers, but some warning that it was “Classic” came up. I guess I’m out of luck.
