Monthly Scheduling on iCal

when I schedule a monthly event it does the same date, not day. Can I correct this?

    So in iCal you can edit the event and specify the repeat frequency. You can do monthly, for instance. But you can also do "Custom." Choose custom and then select the frequency as "monthly" and then you specify a date, or a "on the" frequency. Such as the first Monday, or last weekday.
