I don’t understand the relationship between the different Albums in my iPhone. Nor do I understand exactly how they interact with iPhoto.

In Windows, one can create iso files of programs that can be stored on the hard drive of the computer or on external media, which when required can be run from a “virtual drive”.
Does this function exist in Mac OS or is there an equivalent ?

I have a Mac Pro with my OS and apps on a SSD while I store my data on a HDD in another bay in the Mac Pro. I am running Lion, and I recently (a couple months ago) turned on FileVault. I believe by doing that it changed some of the sharing & permission settings in my data HDD ... (3 Comments)

I am currently using my ISP’s premium mail (BT Yahoo!). It has no online email size limit.
If I start moving to Apple’s iCloud mail account I will have a pooled 5GB for email, docs, backups and whatever other services that Apple intends to stick up there.

I accidentally deleted my bookmarks folder from Safari. This included hundreds of bookmarks. When trying to restore from Time Machine (backed up 2 hours earlier), I get the message “Safari can’t be modified or deleted because it’s required by Mac OS X.

Is there a trick on the I-Pad that closes all apps that are running? Sometimes I do a 4 finger swipe up and am shocked at how many apps are running. That seems to effect memory intensive games that seem to crash often. It takes a lot of time to shut all these apps down, one by ... (4 Comments)

I have older Photostream albums within my iPhoto. For example, March 2012 Photostream, April 2012 Photostream etc. Does that mean that my iMac has actually downloaded them and they are no longer in the cloud. So I don’t have to take any action?
