I am very new to the Mac world but though your wedsite I am slowly learning. I have taken digital picture made an iMovie and now i need to make a good quality dvd. I did transfer it to idvd but am very unhappy with the quality. Plus help in simple terms.

Gary, Since installing Lion, whenever my MAC comes out of sleep mode it takes much longer to boot back up – 30 seconds and the color wheel, instead of instantly. Do have any idea why my MAC seems to have slowed down. It is a huge bummer. I really got used to the ... (2 Comments)

This just started, but it seems the MBP does not really go to sleep. This happens when I shut the lid or do so in the Apple menu. The screen blanks, but the machine is still on and seems to get very hot while just sitting there. The MBP is usually plugged in, so the battery ... (5 Comments)

Is there a good way to do a search in Time Machine? It seems that time machine is limited to knowing when the document was created. I can only search each backup, which can be a problem at times. Is there a way to do a search thru all the backups?

I have lost all my contacts from my address book on my mac and on mobile me, is there any way of recovering them.
