Is there a way to sort the list of songs displayed when, for instance, I wish to see those songs Recently Added as shown in my Playlist Tab? Currently they appear to be just a random list of songs. However I would like to see them by artist or album etc

Sorting Playlists Within the iOS Music App

The sorting of those playlists depends on how you have them sorted in iTunes on your Mac or PC. So change the sorting there by clicking on the top of columns, and then sync again.
