Syncing iPhone apps

I noticed that not all of my apps on my iPhone are showing up on my iTunes. When I check the “sync applications” box, it says it will sync my phone with iTunes (which doesn’t list all the apps I have on my phone). How do I get iTunes to import all the apps on my phone? Thanks for your help.

It should do that automatically as long as the iTunes account is the same for the Mac and the iPhone.
You may want to go to Store, Check for Available Downloads in iTunes to see if that helps.

I looked at my account info at the iTunes store and didn't see Available Downloads. Where would I find this?

Is there anyway to get the phone to sync to the computer rather the the other way around (which would take apps off of the phone)? For some reason the apps are not backing up to the computer when I connect the phone. The iTunes account is the same on the iPhone and iMac.

      Thanks, Tom

It should be doing this automatically. I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. Perhaps a visit to the Genius Bar so they can take a look in person?

Then you've got to check your settings. Sync your phone and then select it in iTunes. See what the app settings are and which ones are selected to sync.
