In a surprise, Apple updated the high-end MacBook Pro line with new Intel processors. The most advanced models now have 8-core processors for the first time. Both the 15-inch and 13-inch models are new.
It also appears that the keyboard for these models is new, using materials that Apple hope will give users a more reliable keyboard not suffering from problems that affect older MacBook models. These new TouchBar MacBook Pros are available today.
