Many rumors circulated today of a late March Apple event, though what products Apple may announce varied a great deal. While new iPads or AirPods were one idea, most sites claimed this was unlikely. BuzzFeed centered in on a new-oriented subscription service that could let users pay a single monthly fee to access paywalled sources like the New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal.
Previous rumors had suggested that a news bundle may be grouped with a video content bundle, as Apple is working on movies and TV shows to compete with Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. Along with Apple Music, we could end up with three separate services with their own price tags, or a single subscription price for all three.
