WWDC May Include Updates To iOS and macOS Apps

Apple WWDC 2019

Bloomberg is speculating that a highlight of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference next month will be major updates to built-in Apple apps. Improvements will come to apps such as Reminders, Messages, Books and Maps. Find My Friends and Find My iPhone may be combined into one app.

A dark mode will come to iOS, as well as swipe-typing on the virtual keyboard. You may also be able to use the iPad as a virtual Mac display, something that can be done now with various third-party apps.

This year may also be the start of an effort to allow developers to more easily create apps for both iOS and the Mac. By 2021, some iOS apps may run on the Mac.

Dark mode on iOS.. awesome! I love dark mode on my MacBook Pro and would love to see it on my iOS devices as well. Can't wait for WWDC 2019!
