I’m concerned about what you said regarding the Safari 5 Reader and its potential for driving countless sources of great ad-supported information off-line. Do you see any silver linings around this cloud? The Safari team (and Steve Jobs) certainly know of the bad fallout of this feature. What do you think their motivation is?

Not sure. Some bloggers theorize that since more content site ads are from Google, that this is part of a war starting between Apple and Google. But i think it is more likely the designers putting the user ahead of the content creator. The problem is that both the user and content creator may lose in the end.
