I don’t know if you’re a big gmail / google calendar user, but as someone who uses these for primary mail, calendar, contacts and tasks, I would love to see an episode detailing how Google’s cloud services and iCloud can play nice together. Is it best to leave the iCloud Mail, Calendar, Contacts turned off to let Google manage these, or is it better otherwise? Subscribed to the show via Tivo, never miss an episode. Keep up the great work! Thanks.

Getting iCloud To Play Nice With Google Mail and Calendar?

The best way to do it is to keep them separate. Actually, that's the only way to do it.
Mail, calendar and contacts are all elements of both Google accounts and iCloud accounts. You can subscribe to each via Mail on the Mac and iOS, iCal and Calendar, and Address Book and Contacts (though I'm not sure about using Google contacts with these).
So it is just a matter of using one, the other, or both. But they are separate accounts on your Mac and iOS devices.
This may not be entirely related to your question, but because iCloud mail is pushed and Gmail is not, I set my Gmail to be forwarded to my @me address so it gets pushed via iCloud. I know this doesn't help with calendar and other stuff, but it might help you with mail.
