I just read on a well known website that Adobe flash hides cookies that are not deletable by Safari or 3rd party apps like Onyx.
Is this true?
Does private browsing stop them from being loaded in the first place?

They aren't cookies. They are preference files for Flash movies. For instance, a video player may store your preference for "play immediately" or your preferred volume. A Flash game may store your high score. Things like that.
They aren't hidden. They are stored in the logical place.
