Not sure what you mean. You can open two Numbers documents at the same time, and then arrange the windows side-by-side. Or, do you mean look at two Sheets in the same document? You can't do that, you have to switch between them. If it is important to see two tables at the same time, then design your sheets so those two tables are on the same sheet.
Sorry ... Must be dumb . I don't know how to put two (2) number sheets side by side on my desktop . Every time I need to look at a different sheet it replaces the one I was looking at first .
Wayne: You put two tables on one sheet. Numbers documents are made up of sheets. Each sheet can have multiple tables. See https://macmost.com/using-multiple-tables-and-lookup-in-numbers.html for a tutorial that uses multiple tables.
Could this be a question about tabs? Documents in Numbers and Pages are now automatically opened in tabs, like in a web browser, so that you can only see one document at a time. If you want to see two documents side by side, just drag the tab of the second document down to see it in a separate window.
I keep several dated lists in Numbers in iCloud Drive. Open one and then open the second one side by side.
Shirley: So are these separate documents? If so, then just open both documents and arrange them in two windows side-by-side.
