Can you be more specific? Network? Do you mean file sharing? Or video chat? Or Facebook? Or something else?
If you mean File sharing, then look in the left sidebar of any Finder window. If they have File sharing turned on properly, and they are on your network, then you'll see them there.

OK. So, File Sharing? Or something else? They should appear in the left sidebar of the Finder windows.
