How do you stop the native MacMail on my Imac or Macbook to STOP asking for a “subject line” prior to sending out an email. How annoying is that?

I don't understand. Are you not filling in the subject line when you originally write the email? You should always have a subject line to an email -- otherwise the person on the other end won't see any title to the email. It might even get eaten up by spam filters without a subject line.

Let me clarify please.
I don't not normally write in a "Subject line" so I would like to know if it's possible to stop MacMail from asking you to fill it in.
I understand your thoughts of always using something in a subject line but there are times when it's not needed.
To answer your question directly: no, I don't think there is any way to prevent that warning.
But, I would say that you should seriously think about changing the way you use the subject line. It could be considered bad etiquette to send an email with a blank subject. And, as I mentioned before, spam filters will more readily filter out an email with no subject. Your email must be about something -- so just put that in the subject. A word or two. No big deal.
I send short emails to my children's phones as SMS messages, and subject lines are superfluous. Sometimes when I am in a great hurry, I write such a message, hit send and close my laptop. The next day, when I open it, I find the warning popup on my unsent message! Arghh. All I can find when I look online for a way to disable the popup warning is this kind of fussing about how one should always use a subject line. I agree in business, subject lines are almost necessary, but people use email for many reasons, not just professional purposes.
Lame, Gary! Most e-mail I send and receive is between friends - like most humans, I suspect - and filling in a subject line is a waste of time. Welcome to Planet Earth! This is annoying me as well - why is there no option in preferences to choose mail to stop asking if I really want to send a message without a subject line? What is this, Microsoft?
I agree with this...95% of all my email is just talking crap with mates, it doesnt require a subject line at all and its very annoying having to put a letter or an number or some crap just to send an email - whooppeee doo that theres no subject???? do you think i wont look at an email if theres no subject?

The subject line fill should be optional. It is annoying to have a pop up ask me "there's no subject line, do you still wish to send?" I wonder if I'm the only one that says out loud "yeah I want to send it", "if I wanted a subject line, I would have frigg'n typed one" Of course I cleaned it up for this comment post....LOL
I completely agree there are times that a subject lines is 100% necessary, and I think most of us are smart enough to know.
Does anyone have any friends that completely ignore the subject line? I do! And that's annoying too, but you can't turn that function 'on' with people.
Subject line content is great for work, but it's too formal for emailing friends. IMO
I know this is an old thread, but if Gary is still around....at my company if I want to transmit a file from a remote computer to our computer at work, we do it by emailing the file as an attachment. There is no human being to be insulted by the lack of a subject line. It is a pain (albeit an extremely minor one) to have to answer the prompt each time.
No way around it. You either have to hit "Send Anyway" (or just a quick tap of the Return key when that appears), or put a subject of some sort there.
I know this topic is old but I agree completely. I very seldom use the subject line and wish I could get that message to never show again. My emails are about 95% just chatting with family and friend and it's more like texting.
