I have three Macs plus an external drive that all have similar, but not identical iTunes libraries. I would like to figure out what is the best way to really sync them, or merge them and have them all sync off of one master drive. What is the best way to do this?

If you plan on having one library on master drive, I would simply gather all the file together, outside of the iTunes libraries. Then create a new library there and drag and drop all the files into iTunes to populate it. Then point all the Macs' iTunes to that one library.
