What is Your Favorite Email Service?

Your advice seems to be always on the mark. I would be interested knowing what your favorite email is. I use Gmail primarily, but like MobileMe mail beta a lot so far, and I see Hotmail is coming out with a summer update as well.
Just wondering. Thanks!

I use IMAP email. You can do that from any IMAP server, but I happen to use Google Apps as my mail server (http://www.google.com/apps/). I use it as a regular IMAP email server, with Apple Mail (and iPhone and iPad) as my client, not the Gmail interface. So it would be the same with any IMAP server, like one you would get from a hosting company.
I do like regular Gmail though, and use it for mail lists and such. I dislike Yahoo and Hotmail. MobileMe is OK, but Gmail's Web interface is still way better, and free.

I've been with Yahoo for a long time, but if I wanted to change wouldn't it be a real pain to change that address with so many sites that have it on file? Is there some magic wand that makes a change to Google, for example, easy?

That's one of the reasons I hate Yahoo. On most other email systems you can leave and then simply have your email forwarded to you. However, with Yahoo the "forward" thing is an advanced feature and you have to pay for it. So, if you want to leave and forward your email you need to pay Yahoo.
I recommend emailing all of your friends from your new email address that you are no longer using Yahoo. Then, check your Yahoo email account once a month after that for anyone who emails you there anyway. Make sure you tell them about your change.

I use HostMonster.com. It is very reasonably priced by the year with unlimited mail addresses. Includes great spam filtering too!
I didn't answer the poll because there was no option that would cover a purchased email solution.

Thanks for all of the great MacMost videos!

That would be Service at Work. In that case work would be your own personal server, but it is the same thing.
