Create dvd from mkv files on Toast?

I have a bunch of mkv files that I want to send to a friend on hard copy. Trouble is, most of my friends don’t have mkv support on their video players; so I thought it best to create a dvd from them and send them that and they can view it on comp or tv, whatever.
So just checking, does Toast support simple drag and drop of mkv and straight encode to dvd? Or do i need another software?
