I want to use 8 1/2 by 11 landscape oriented paper folded to make a four page booklet. I also want to do the same (with two pieces of paper) to make an eight page booklet. I have tried imposition software but the large margins on the top and bottom of each page leave little room for text. I used to do this with WordPerfect and it was super simple, but I can’t find a way to do it with Pages. I will use this for a handout for Bible studies. If you can help me I will be most thankful.

Just make your pages the normal 8.5x11 and place your text boxes in them as you would like them to appear on the actual sheets of paper. So create your own margins and spaces as you need them.
