I want to give away my 2013 iMac. I know that I need to sign out of iCloud, iTunes, etc. but then I want to reinstall the Mojave OS. Can I press Command Q to stop at some point so it will be ready for my cousin to sign in?

Time Machine does it backup every hour, day, week etc but if the backup is up to date, example only 1 minute ago and I create a document and save it to the desktop or a folder, then put the Mac in sleep mode and not return to the computer for at least 2 hours will Time Machine ... (3 Comments)

I love the Magic Mouse, but I hate the horizontal scrolling because it is too sensitive and hard to control. Accidental swipes often takes me back a few pages in many applications. Especially web browsers. Is there any way to turn this off. I know of MagicPrefs, but it no longer ... (9 Comments)

I’m having difficulty in creating a shared folder(s) using iCloud. I have a family account with iCloud with 200Gb space. We have two unique Apple ID’s and work from two different devices (iMac & MacBook). We share the 200Gb.

When we used iTunes to sort and arrange our apps on iPhone and iPad, we could also rearrange the screens/pages those apps are on. I want to rearrange my iPad screens, without having to move all my apps. Is there a way we can still do that?

Hi Gary,
I was running out of space on my backup drive (which has TimeMachine backups plus other stuff) so I manually deleted some of my old Time Machine backups. I can not empty the trash. It comes up with all sorts of errors.
