How To Get Rid Of a Blank Page in Pages for iPad?

How do you add a page or remove a page? I am so irritated that a few of my projects have added an additional page, so that when I print, it’s a blank page. I need to know how to get rid of the additional page.

I am creating patterns for quilting projects. I am doing it in landscape mode because I will be folding it in half and placing it in a clear ziploc bag that is 6×9. I am using text and pictures. I have no idea why it has created another page sometimes and there isn’t anything on it.

Thank you, in advance.

The two reasons that come to mind for a blank page are that you have invisible text (extra lines) at the end of your document, or that you have an invisible element (blank shape or image) on that page.

The first thing I would do is to go to that blank page and tap in the middle to place the cursor at the end of the document. Then backspace (delete) to remove those characters.

You can also do this: tap anywhere in the body text of the document and then use Select All to select everything in the body text. Then at the end of the document you'll see the invisible characters indicating there are extra lines that go to that next page. Then tap after that last one and use the backspace key to delete them.

I must be stupid, I can not figure this out. Is there a way to share the document with you and show me?

Sherri, I have been trying to delete a page for about 2 hours. This is definitely a flaw that’s driving me crazy.

Dayle: The basic idea is the same. So watch this video and try these techniques to figure out why you've got an extra page.
