If you know some hidden codes, you can set up Home Screen icons to take you right to screens in the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Learn how to use the Shortcuts app to set this up.
You can also watch this video at YouTube (but with ads).

Thanks for this. I made a shortcut to the audio routing for my hearing aids that I'm always changing and was really annoying to get to without this little trick Thanks!
Wow! Another great video! I use an app that shows a nightlight clock whenever I plug into my charger. The problem is it turns off the automatic Backup feature. So I set an automation to go to the Backup page when the phone is disconnected from the charger. Is there a way to drill down to the "Back Up Now" function?
Rocky: Check that Github page to see if there is one. If not, I don't know what it would be.
Could you post the URL for the GitHub list of hidden codes, I could not get the URL to work you listed in the video. Thanks and I really like all your efforts to help us Mac and iPhone users out!
Larry: I posted it above.
Hi Gary
I am disabled and been looking for a way to turn on and off the auto answer accessibility with Siri. Will this method work for this? Is there a code for turning on and off auto-answer?
Colin: Do you mean "Hey Siri?" I don't think there's a way to turn it on and off that will be any easier than going to Settings. Why turn it off though? Just leave it on.
hello, thanks for the video.
it was super useful. I have created a shortcut to settings - privacy - location
now there are 3 options in the settings to choose from . I would like to make the shortcut choose one of them automatically so I do not even need to open the settings and see it and choose myself but the shortcut do it for me. is there such way to tell the shortcut to do so?
thanks
Nadav: Probably not. Look at the link above and see.
Fabulous content. I have been searching everywhere for how to create a shortcut to go to Notifications for a particular app. If Siri will turn this Notification on or off I will be in heaven. Background: Real pain to turn security notifications on when we leave then back on when we get back. Would have never figured this out. So glad I found Macmost and your valuable content!
