I have an iPhone 3GS and I’m having a syncing problem. Somehow my phone now has my contacts from both MobileMe and using the iTunes direct syncing. I’ve tried turning each of them off, and I’ve tried overwriting the contacts, but I can’t seem to get rid of either one! Help!

Play with the settings. There is a setting in iTunes to make the next sync overwrite all data -- in iTunes, under Info, look for Advanced.
You may need to turn off MobileMe sync first, then get rid of all the other contacts on the phone, then turn on MobileMe again. But there are a lot of factors involved. It depends on whether you see double contact in Address Book on your Mac as well.
