Gary, why does Apple continue with a 12mp camera, why not go up to 16 or 20mp? Also, no new Apple TV a predicted by some.

Karl: I’m no expert on CCDs but I think higher quality is more about lenses and other things once you reach a certain point.

Regarding the MagSafe: Is it safe for credit cards, whether they be in the little wallet Apple is selling or whether they are in my wallet and the iPhone is near it?

Ruth: The Apple wallet device says it is shielded to protect magnetic strips in cards. Without that shielding I think it would be bad to keep a card against it. But that is true for existing phones too.

Gary, how much of an improvement do you think the cameras are on the 12 over the iphone XR? I don’t care about the augmented reality stuff but might upgrade if photo/video quality will be much better. Thanks!

I am so glad finally a small phone again that may fit in pockets or in pouches like the iPhone 4. I planned on waiting until the Apple store open up again before buying a new phone but maybe now I will go ahead and buy the Mini when it is release.

Abraham: I think quite a bit. I can’t remember what the XR has off the top of my head, but the 12 adds a lot. Compare the camera specs and features on Apple’s site and you’ll see.
