How To Disable Auto Launch Audio Apps On My Apple Watch?

Using Apple Watch (OS8) and iPhone 13. I’d like to disable auto launch audio apps so that it doesn’t show up on my Apple Watch.

I’d prefer not to control music on my watch.

Try this. On your iPhone, go to the Watch app. Go into Display & Brightness. Then look for Auto-launch Audio Apps. Turn that off and see if it works like you want it to now

That did not work. I 'reset' my Apple Watch and tried again... no luck. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

Douglas: Sorry, if that doesn't get you what you want I'm not sure. I'd call Apple Support if the audio apps are still auto-launching even after you have turned that off.

Called Apple Support. "At this time there is no way to do this. Please submit a request."

I opened settings app on the watch itself. Then General/Wake Screen. It can be turned off there. Could not find this option anywhere in the iPhone watch app.
